“Having initially been apprehensive about teaching Pilates virtually, I’m delighted at how well people have responded to it. I’m so grateful to have been able to continue to see my regular clients and fortunate to have the opportunity to teach other clients, that I wouldn’t have otherwise met. Lockdown has been far from ideal, but I’ve enjoyed the slower pace of life. With a big garden to relax in and the seafront a short walk away, I’ve really appreciated how lucky I am”.

This is a mixed level class and suitable for all and open to all PP clients, whether you are on a course with us not. We know that times are still tough for a lot of our clients, so we are offering these FREE of charge. However, if you wish to make a donation for your session it would be greatly appreciated (suggested donation £5-£15)

Watermelon and feta salad and Chargrilled grapes 🍉🍇 Cut Watermelon into thick wedges, cut feta into chunks and add to watermelon, top with thinly sliced red onion (optional), chopped basil or mint leaves and a drizzle of olive oil Marinate seedless red grapes in sherry or red wine vinegar, olive oil, garlic, fennel or cumin seeds (toasted and lightly crushed) pinch of sugar, salt and pepper Skewer the grapes and barbecue, serve with the marinade drizzled over (delicious with goats cheese or mozzarella)

Pilates has long been considered a women's exercise regime...but why? Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates, a boxer, to keep the men in his military camp in physical shape. Over the years, women have keenly recognised the benefits of Pilates... building core strength, using your body's own resistance, targeting minute muscles, etc… But here's the thing... It's NOT a women's-only exercise. Pilates can be extremely beneficial to men. Just ask the many professional male athletes that credit Pilates for their optimal performance on the field.
